Actiontec Training Video Creates Installer Buy-In
Sunnyvale, California: Actiontec Electronics, Inc., makers of home networking devices, have created a comprehensive training program for the Wireless Broadband Router. This program, targeted at telecom and cable installers is a comprehensive multi-media program with video as it’s cornerstone.

To create the video content, Actiontec tapped Frame x Frame Productions’ team and Producer/Director, Sean Frame. Frame discussed the project. “Training technical people with video always presents a unique set of challenges. It’s not just about teaching proper techniques and procedures; It’s also critical to give the people being trained a sense of WHY these techniques and procedures are important—a sense of buy-in. When we work on training videos, it is this sense of buy-in that we strive to create, and think we were especially successful on this project.”

The video, which will initially be rolled out to Verizon installers in the US, beginning in April 2006, will also be used by other Actiontec clients in the near future.
