Frame by Frame has officially announced the addition of HD production capabilities with the purchase of a Panasonic HVX200 HD camcorder. The camera which uses solid state P2 cards to record DVCPro100 HD (or SD DVCPro50), also has SD Mini DV recording built in. In HD, it records both 1080i and 720p with frame rates from 1 to 60fps with over-cranking and under-cranking and even has the film gamma and color adjustment capabilities of Panasonic's top-end digital cinema Varicam cameras.
